Footsteps

I wish I could somehow describe those moments that I had this Saturday when I was coming down the Grouse Mountain on their cable carand although I had done that hike in the past few times, the view this time was something different with that cloudy sky in the middle of summer and although I was surrounded by people, hikers and tourists, I so much felt I was by myself and I was listening to Kitaro’s Silk Road and Ennio Morricone’s The Lady Caliph as we were descending and I had this sense of melancholy and yet achievement that I hadn’t had for a long time.
