Just a day...

Not sure why I am writing these lines...Last night, watched Capitalism: A Love Story. It has some touching moments especially when two families that their loved ones had passed away talk about the life insurance set up secretly by the employers of the deceased to make a profit from their deaths.

Today, I woke up around 7:00. Read some parts of A History of Modern Iran by Ervand Abarahamian. It is a pleasant book to read. I had plans from the day before to make some Koofte Sabzi. When I just wanted to go ahead with my plans, I realized that I don't have turmeric. I went to a superstore to buy some. Got back and started cooking. After preparing Kooftes and putting them in the pot, I went for a jog to give Kooftes time to be slowly cooked. I came back from the jog very hungry. Had some of Kooftes with Torshi, Yogurt and vegetables, a very Iranian lunch indeed. I froze the rest of Kooftes then. Headed out to a big department store to return some stuff and buy some others for my place. I then went to the school and attended a meeting about Iran and what we can do about it in this current situation. The attendance were mostly from the older generation. I wasn't very impressed at the beginning, not because of the age but the content of the discussion but gradually got involved. I will attend their next meeting to give it more time...This was my day...I guess I am getting along with my loneliness here...
